Zoe Hadzidaki was born and raised in Athens, Greece.  

Studies: 

Degree in Contemporary Dance from Higher Professional School of Dance “Rallou Manou”.  

 Degree in Dance Therapy, member of EADMT (European Association of Dance Therapists).  

 Systemic Family Therapy - courses attended from 1998-2002 at the Laboratory for the Study of Human Relations by Ch. Kataki.   

Performances and professional experience: 

She has danced professionally in various productions and has worked as a choreographer for the theater and the movies.  

As a dance therapist she collaborated in creating training and reintegration programs for the Korydallos Women’s Prison.  

She works as a freelance psychotherapist and family counselor.   

She is interested in and actively follows Lacanian psychoanalysis.  

She has taught classical and modern dance in dance schools and at the Music High School of Pallini. Also, music and creative dance in several Primary schools and kindergartens.   

She gives seminars to nursery school and other teachers, in relation to the reform of pedagogical practice by integrating dance in education.   

She has collaborated with the Institute of Educational Policy as a field specialist, in   writing and evaluating the new curricula and teachers’ handbook on the subject of Dance for the General Art High Schools.  

She teaches the connection between psychoanalysis and dance therapy in the postgraduate educational program, organized by the Association of Dance Therapists of Greece (full member of the European Association of Dance Therapists).  

She teaches the course of Pedagogical Psychology at the Higher Professional School of Dance, AKTINA. 

From 1996 she has been a workshop associate, teaching at the TEI (Technological Institute) of Athens. In 2020 she was appointed Lecturer at the University of West Attica, in the Department of Education and Care in Early Childhood.  

She was a founding member and manager of the non – profit company «ANIMA – SOMA, in the dance movement“, which aims to create a dance archive in Greece.
