Eleni Mousena (Bachelor Degree in Political Science and International Studies, Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, GR; Bachelor Degree in Pedagogy, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, GR; Master in Education, Hellenic Open University, GR; PhD in Sciences of Education – Citizenship Education, University of Patras, GR) is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Early Childhood Education & Care in the University of West Attica (UNIWA). She has also worked as an expert on education quality issues at the European Commission, and as a pre-school supervisor at the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs in Greece. Her scientific interests focus on Citizenship Education, Curriculum and Teaching Communication, and Discourse Analysis in an educational context.
