Visit of Professor João Paulo Ferreira Delgado through the Erasmus Classical Mobility Programme at the Department of Early Childhood Education and Care

The visit to the University of West Attica took place during the third week of October, in partnership with the Department of Early Childhood Education and Care. In addition to the lecture on School management and leadership, a workshop was held entitled “Foster Care in Pictures Books for Children”, which had the active collaboration of undergraduate students. I also had meetings of sharing and comparing the curricula of both institutions and child protection systems, studying possibilities of developing projects in the future.

The Greek colleagues who organized the visit were very available and welcoming, highlighting Ass. Prof. Maria Hatzigianni, Dr Christina Sotiriou and Dr Stella Retsiou. The objectives of this short experience of mobility were thus achieved allowing for personal and professional experience, the exchange of social and cultural experiences and the deepening of institutional cooperation.

All the best

Paulo
