Angeli Varvara holds a Master of Arts in Education and the title of Preschool Teacher. She graduated from the Department of Preschool Education of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens (TEI). She has eighteen years of experience as a Preschool Teacher in daycare settings in the public and private sector. In 2006 she was hired in Secondary Education through ASEP as PE1833 Preschool Educator. 

Since 1994, she is teaching at the Department of Preschool Education of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens (TEI), as a Laboratory Associate. In 2013 she was elected as a Professor of Applications in the Department of Preschool Education of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens 

In 2018 she  became a Lecturer at the University of West Attica in the Department of Education and Early Childhood Care and she teaches courses related to babies, infants and young children education and care.  

She participates in Conferences and has published articles in Peer reviewed Journals.
