According to the decision of the Departments’ General Assembly on 20/29-9-2021, the undergraduate students of the Department, following successful completion of their studies, can receive, upon request, a certificate in Digital Literacy from the Department of Early Childhood Education and Care, as determined by the relevant decisions of the Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection [ASEP] on digital literacy and more specifically according to the issuance of three (3) annexes (Special Annex A1) dated 17-09-2020, 17-05-2021, and 31-08-2021 on “Digital Literacy – Method of Proof”.
The undergraduate students, whose transcript of records show that they have attended and successfully accomplished at least five (5) of the following courses, are eligible to apply for the Certificate in Digital Literacy. These courses are compulsory or elective from the broader field of computer science or computer literacy. Each of these seven (7) courses is taken as part of the acquisition of a bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education and Care.
