Bachelor Thesis

The Bachelor Thesis (ΠΤΥΧ 94) is a compulsory elective course. The preparation of the thesis is carried out individually by the student or, if the nature of the subject requires it and exceptionally, by a group of a maximum of two (2) students, provided that the individual work and contribution of both students is distinct both during the preparation and the presentation of the thesis. To be completed in one semester, either in semester 7th or 8th. With a justified request, an extension for an additional semester may be granted (Extract from the Minutes of the General Assembly, No. 18/7-9-2021). According to the Internal Regulations of the University of West Attica (Article 40), an extension for one additional semester may be granted with the agreement of the supervising professor. In exceptional cases and following a justified request by the student, the time for completion of the thesis may be extended for one more semester. At the end of the three (3) semesters, the student must have to resubmit an application for a thesis.

Students may apply to the Department Assembly for a change of thesis topic and/or supervisor no more than once.
